Todd Dunn is a licensed and insured contractor serving the Bucks County Pennsylvania and beyond. He holds certificates in historical preservation, attended several craftsman and timber framing schools in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts before starting TWD Enterprises in 2001.

Todd Dunn is a Doylestown native and started his contracting career in the mid 90’s when he went in business with his father buying and selling real estate. It was here that Todd cut his teeth in construction, running in to hundreds of unique problems and identifying creative solutions for them.

Following his passion for snowboarding, Todd left PA to be a snowboard instructor for Killington Ski Resort in Vermont. During the summer months, Todd worked for D. Dutton Construction who specialized in both new construction and historical preservation, including barn conversions. Todd began with them as a carpenter and worked his way to foreman.

Todd decided to settle back into Bucks County, PA and has worked on everything from doorknob installations to spec house building and historical preservation work.

In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, working in his shop and off-roading in his Jeep.

The Quoting Process

Our quoting process is clear and honest. After sitting down with you and discussing your project, we craft our quote over the next couple days. Our quotes will list the proposed work in the order in which it is to be completed. Our payment terms are also clear and are based on milestones, not based on days or percentages. By doing it this way, our customers can see and understand exactly where we are in the project.

While most timelines are fluid, we do our best to estimate when each project will be completed and will work with our clients on any deadlines. If we don’t think we can do it, we’ll tell you.

It’s worth noting that we may not be the lowest bid. We do not underbid or undercut a project and offer fair, reasonable and accurate estimates for high-quality work.

Day One

The first day of any project is exciting. We typically start at 8am and will start with introductions to our crew – each of whom wear company attire any time they are on site.

Next, we do a walk through and discuss the project in its entirety, from day one until the last day.

We then get to isolating our work area: We will drape, cover and bag any flooring, furniture, and entryways to ensure that we leave your house in as good of condition as we left it and keep dust and debris to an absolute minimum.

At the end of the day, we review what work was done and will discuss the next day’s work with our client.

What Else?

We take great pride and care to ensure your project is a success. We only take on one project at a time and you can expect Todd on the job site every day, swinging a hammer, cutting wood and answering any questions you might have.

We are passionate about what we do and hold ourselves accountable each and every day while we are working on your project. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to changes in designs and working creatively towards solutions should any issues come up during the project. As a project evolves we keep communication channels open and ensure that each client is completely up to speed at all times, aware of any complications and is aware of any timeline or cost adjustments that might need to be made. And, we make sure that each of our clients are happy!
